SEAI introduced a new Heat Pump grant in 2018. These grants are for existing houses built before 2011.
In order to be eligible for a heat pump grant, your house must meet a certain Heat Loss requirement. We at Midway Energy services can carry out a Technical Assessment on your house to advise the client if the home meets the heat loss requirement and if not – what insulation measures will need to be carried out for them to do so. A grant of €6500 plus €200 towards the Technical Assessment will be paid to the homeowner when the works are complete.
