What is a Ventilation Validation Cert?
The ventilation/heating system in your property is a significant long-term investment, and should meet Irish building regulations to ensure it’s as energy efficient as possible.
A Ventilation Validation Certificate shows that the property meets the ventilation requirements in Part F of these regulations, and provides peace of mind to the property owner.
The Ventilation Validation survey sees technicians measure the capacity of the new system to provide sufficient airflow to each area of the home or business property, as well as assessing the performance of the ventilation infrastructure.
When any new home is being built in Ireland, Ventilation Validation should be carried out in conjunction with a Building Energy Rating (BER) survey and an Air Tightness Test.
